WAKA WAKA!!!
Yes I know many football fans already know the background and sound of Shakira and Freshly Ground's FiFa World Cup 2010 song Waka Waka(This Time for Africa). Nevertheless, here are three monogamous remixes for those who do not know and are still in the mood to support a South American or European team to the Cup final. Plus the part where you hear the original version in Golden Sounds' 80s makossa hit Zangaléwa from Cameroon.
Cristian Poow leads Shakira, Freshly Ground and Golden Sounds on a swingable house beat with hidden drums here and tehre. David Guetta does it club house style by adding keys and surprises. E-Sonic's tropical touch is my favorite since he really adds the African vibes I am missing in Shakira's version. Perhaps because 66% behind Shakira's production is delivered by the Indian composer duo Salim-Sulaiman.

Last but not least I would also like to share my favorite cover of Golden Sounds' Zangaléwa performed by the Surinamese band Trafassi, who are rather popular in their home country Surinam, but also on the ABC-Islands and in the country which might be waving the World Cup, the Netherlands.
